Mercia Marina is planning to offer the following exceptional facilities to boat owners and visitors:-

• Berths for 585 craft on full length 720mm wide finger pontoons
• Water and electricity to all berths
• Wireless Internet throughout the site
• 35 Super Berths with pontoons on each side
• Berths for craft up to 70 foot length
• Berths for wide beam craft (up to 4.25m beam)
• Great majority of berths enclosed in a fully fenced and gated area
• Car Parking close to all pontoons
• Three amenity buildings close to the berths with showers, toilets and laundry facilities
• Facilities for the disabled
• A chandlery and shop
• A covered double dry dock for two narrow boats or one wide beam
• Repair and maintenance workshop
• Fuelling quay with two pumps
• Pump out and Elsan disposal

We also hope to include the following:

• Brokerage office and boats to view for new and second hand boat sales
• A resident boat hire fleet with booking office
• A Tea Room overlooking the lake
• For 2009 a gastro pub with magnificent views over the marina
• At a later date 18 holiday log cabins
