Canal Art at Mercia Marina

The Trade n Post (Marina Shop) are proud to announce the introduction of Canal Art, two very talented local artists and narrow boaters themselves now have items for sale at the Trade n Post. Ellie is an inspiring young and a very talented lady indeed she was first introduced to Canal Art in 2007 at the Crick Boat Show and since then she has developed a style which is as fresh as the roses she paints. Ellie is on a learning curve herself and after attending various painting workshops at Inland Waterways Festivals organised by Julie Tonkin (Julie was taught by the legendary Phil Speight) plans to attend more painting workshops very soon.  Ellie a very confident young individual will be giving painting demonstrations at the Trade n Post for all to see (and for you to try !!!), please visit the Trade n Post or watch this page for further details.

Trina a local lady with a boat moored at Willington has been involved with Canal Art for 12 Years and produces items of Canal Art which can only be described as amazing, the attention to detail is extraordinary. Trina is a well established canal artist and specialises in all size of canal ware gifts. The price for all the items on display from both of these very talented ladies is exceptionally good value indeed especially considering the effort which is required to produce individual hand crafted art of such quality.  Please visit the Trade n Post and view the items on display you will be amazed at the collection.
