Only treats here at our Frightful Fireworks Night 26th and 27th October.
Bring your Halloween costumes and an empty belly and enjoy a weekend of fun, fire, food and of course fireworks. One night of silent family friendly fireworks (Saturday) and one night of ‘big bang’ fireworks (Sunday).
On both days you will find street food from around the world at the Food for Fawkes food market by StrEATfood Social where we will be burning hunger and bringing the flavour, not forgetting raising the spirits (literally) and world beers to quench a frightful thirst!
The fun reaches scary heights when we raise up street performers on skeletal stilts, giant cauldron bubbles and other entertainment with a fire dance on Sunday.
Much like the Mexican Day of the Dead Festival, you will see faces painted with sugar skulls so why not join in the fun with free face painting and turn Día de Muertos into Día de Mercia.
Look out for the spooky fish to find in the shops and complete the trail to win a prize and many shops open late. Brave the Banshee Stand and take your picture in our photo stand and post them on facebook as there’s a fangtastic prize for the best picture.
Food, drink, fear, fun and celebrations at our first ever Halloween and Guy Fawkes weekend.
